About the role
We are looking for a Platform Engineer to help development teams ship software reliably and securely. You’ll build GitHub Actions pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure as code, and improve how developers test, deploy, and operate their applications.
This hands-on role is suited to an engineer with
2–4 years of experience who wants to deepen their skills in cloud platforms, continuous delivery, and DevSecOps. The team supports work across developer experience, cloud, high-performance computing, machine learning, simulation, and quantum computing.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines for application and infrastructure delivery.
- Develop and manage version-controlled infrastructure as code for cloud environments.
- Work with developers to improve deployment workflows and support trunk-based development and continuous delivery.
- Use Python, Bash, or similar tools to automate recurring engineering tasks.
- Monitor cloud services and troubleshoot issues affecting security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Support containerized workloads and improve visibility into application and infrastructure health.
Required qualifications
- 2–4 years in software engineering, DevSecOps, or platform engineering, including prior DevSecOps work.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Git, and infrastructure as code tools.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practical experience with trunk-based development and continuous delivery.
- Proficiency with Linux and scripting in Python, Bash, or a similar language.
- Strong public cloud fundamentals, preferably on AWS, and experience supporting large-scale cloud deployments.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes and knowledge of cloud security best practices.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus or Grafana.
- Understanding of data, machine learning, and AI workflows and tooling.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and experience working with Agile engineering teams.
