Description
Job Summary : We are seeking a Lead Senior Collaboration Platform Designer with strong, hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting Google and Microsoft Collaboration at enterprise scale. This position will lead the collaboration platform modernization and Operational initiatives.
This position requires real-world, operational experience. While certifications are valued, demonstrated hands-on experience designing, deploying, automating, migrating, and supporting Google and Microsoft collaboration platform workloads in production environments carries more weight.
Experience supporting the design, governance, and day-to-day operations of Google and Microsoft is a core part of this role, directly supporting the Department''s collaboration Platform management task area.
Job Role Specific Requirements:
Google and Microsoft Collaboration Administration & Operations
Administer and support Google (Workspace, Sites and Drive and Microsoft (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
Manage site configurations, permissions, and sharing using least privilege principles
Configure and maintain collaboration governance: external sharing, retention, sensitivity labels, and lifecycle policies
Monitor platform health, service health, usage and reporting using Google and Microsoft Admin centers
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and manage problem resolution to SLA
Support environments across development, test, and production tenants
Platform Development & Automation
Design, build, and maintain business solutions using the Google and Microsoft Platform:
Looker Studio Reporting
Power Apps (canvas and model-driven apps)
Dataverse and SharePoint lists as data sources
Automate business processes and workflows using:
Google Platform Tools
Power Automate (cloud flows)
Power Automate (desktop flows / RPA)
Approvals and event-driven workflows
Business process and forms automation (Power Apps / SharePoint forms)
Build Collaboration dashboards and reports for operational and SLA reporting
Reduce manual effort through standardized, reusable components and automation
Collaboration Platform Migration & Modernization
Governance, Integration & Identity
Application & End-User Support
Reporting & Analytics (Strong Plus)
Qualifications
Required skills and qualifications
Availability during 7AM-7PM Eastern support window.
Bachelor''s and 14+ years of experience, Master''s Degree and 12+ years of experience or PhD and 9+ years of experience required
Experience Leading a Team of 10-15 people in Day-to-day Operational management of Incidents, problems, QA, and SLA adherence
8+ years of hands-on experience designing and supporting platforms in production environments
Experience managing and supporting collaboration services, including:
Google Workspace Collaboration Tools (Gmail, Sites, Drive, Meet, Forms, etc.)
SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 Groups
Governance, permissions, and lifecycle management
Google Gemini, AppSheet, Workspace studio, Looker, Sheets
Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
Migrations (on-prem SharePoint SharePoint Online and/or tenant-to-tenant)
Google Cloud CLI and PowerShell for Automation and administration
Incident, problem management, quality assurance, and SLA analysis
Troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills; able to work independently while collaborating across teams

Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
