What you’ll do (bullet-by-bullet)
- Package finished goods to precise customer shipping instructions.
- Apply Quality Procedures and Work Instructions at each step.
- Operate at least half of the machines in the area and manage multiple conveyors simultaneously.
- Perform assigned secondary operations and rework when needed.
- Inspect parts for defects; confirm carton counts; verify label accuracy and apply labels.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Report throughput, issues, or abnormalities to Supervisors and Team Leads immediately.
- Sign the Training Log in the mold book to document competency.
- Handle other tasks as assigned; be reliable and punctual.
What makes you successful
- Comfort reading and interpreting written instructions and policies.
- Strong adherence to procedures; you check your own work for quality.
- Drive to meet productivity targets while using equipment and materials properly.
- Background in manufacturing and quality inspection; clear communicator.
- Experience with injection molding and identifying non-conforming product.
Physical requirements
- Lift up to 35 lbs with regular handling of parts and cartons.
- Manual dexterity for quick, accurate work.
- Stand for 12-hour shifts; frequent lifting, turning, twisting, reaching, pulling, and pushing.
- Use visual inspection to detect defects.
