    About the Role

    Join a growing plastics manufacturer in Rogers, MN as a Plastics Manufacturing Technician. You will operate production equipment and carry parts from start to finish—inspecting, sorting, assembling, labeling, packaging, and documenting plastic components with precision.

    A Day in the Life

    • Operate one or multiple production processes with limited supervision.
    • Inspect, sort, count, assemble, label, package, and stage plastic components to spec.
    • Monitor machines and processes to maintain established quality standards.
    • Hit throughput and scrap goals listed on job travelers.
    • Accurately record good and rejected quantities on production documentation.
    • Enter production data into ERP and related computer systems without errors.
    • Complete required paperwork and clock in/out of assigned jobs properly.
    • Apply correct labels to finished goods and prepare materials for staging.
    • Trim excess material using knives or other approved hand tools.
    • Perform visual inspections to identify defects or quality concerns.
    • Maintain proper line clearance and separation between jobs and materials.
    • Keep tools, bags, and production materials organized.
    • Maintain a clean work area and complete end-of-job and end-of-shift housekeeping.
    • Follow all safety, quality assurance, and production procedures.
    • Assist with additional production tasks as assigned.

    What You Bring

    • 1+ year of manufacturing experience (required).
    • High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
    • Comfort with basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and decimals.
    • Ability to read, write, understand, and follow work instructions in English.
    • Basic computer skills for accurate ERP data entry.
    • Ability to safely use knives and other approved hand tools.
    • Good manual dexterity and strong visual inspection ability.
    • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Accuracy and completeness in production documentation.
    • Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work with limited supervision.
    • Proven ability to maintain productivity while meeting quality requirements.
    • Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive movements.
    • Regularly lift, push, pull, and handle up to 40 pounds.
    • Fine motor skills for inspecting, sorting, trimming, assembling, and packaging components.

    Work Environment

    • Fast-paced manufacturing setting with exposure to production machinery, equipment, and plastic components.
    • Extended 12-hour shifts involving prolonged standing and physical activity.
    • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive motion.
    • Regular lifting, pushing, pulling, and material handling throughout the shift.
    • Use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required.
    • Must safely perform production duties while meeting productivity and quality standards.

    Multiple Shifts

    • A shift: 6am to 6pm Monday–Wednesday; 6am to 12pm Thursday
    • B shift: 6pm to 6am Monday–Wednesday; 6pm to 12am Thursday
    • C shift: 12pm to 6pm Thursday; 6am to 6pm Friday–Sunday
    • D shift: 12am to 6am Thursday; 6pm to 6am Friday–Sunday
