Employees benefit from exposure to advanced manufacturing processes, cross-functional project work, and opportunities for long-term career growth within an internationally recognized organization.Job DescriptionReporting directly into the Head of NAM Engineering, you will be responsible for the following:Drive continuous improvement initiatives across extrusion and injection molding operations to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.Develop, standardize, and optimize tooling, fixtures, equipment, and manufacturing processes.Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and global teams to support operational excellence and business growth.Lead process development projects that improve manufacturing performance and increase capacity.Identify opportunities to reduce waste, scrap, rework, and downtime through robust process controls and data-driven decision making.Support new product introductions by ensuring manufacturing processes are capable, scalable, and compliant.Develop business cases and capital equipment proposals to support expansion and productivity improvements.Specify, procure, and validate manufacturing equipment, tooling, gauges, fixtures, and assembly aids.Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment, providing technical expertise and root cause analysis.Lead corrective and preventative action activities, resolving production issues and supporting customer quality concerns.Create and maintain standard operating procedures, process documentation, and visual work instructions.Ensure compliance with all quality, regulatory, and safety requirements.Support engineering change processes and implement manufacturing improvements in a controlled manner.Provide technical leadership and mentorship across manufacturing operations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
