What you'll do
- Set up molding equipment using documented procedures and parameters.
- Watch the run—adjust settings to maintain quality and throughput.
- Handle routine preventive care to keep machines in top condition.
- Inspect finished parts; correct any deviations immediately.
- Diagnose and fix production issues on the fly.
- Manage raw material levels and notify your supervisor when it's time to restock.
- Maintain safety standards and a clean, organized workspace.
- Pitch in on other assigned tasks.
What you'll need
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hands-on plastics molding experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of plastics manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Mechanical aptitude; technical background with packaging, plastics, or printing equipment.
- Confidence reading technical drawings.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
- Resourceful problem-solver.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
