Description
Job Title: Plastic Machine Operator/Inspector
Job Overview We are seeking a hands-on Machine Operator/Inspector with a plastics background to assist Shift Supervisors, stage setups, train operators, manage ERP inventory, and operate molding equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Setup & Team Leadership: Stage press workstations with materials and tools; train and coach operators on safety, quality, and procedures; lead shift hand-off communications.
Material Handling & ERP: Operate tow motors/forklifts to move materials, clear finished goods, and update inventory bin locations using Epicor ERP.
Quality & Process Control: Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools, enter MRB data, and lead floor efforts to reduce scrap and cycle times.
Qualifications
3+ years of manufacturing experience in plastics processing (molding or extrusion).
Hands-on experience operating tow motors/forklifts and plastics machinery.
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and ERP software.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, perform constant hand grasping, and maintain high visual acuity in a fast-paced environment.
