Plastic injection Molding Operator

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Injection Mold Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues to ensure efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate plastic injection molding machines according to job specifications.
• Monitor machine operations to detect and resolve malfunctions or quality issues.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning and minor repairs.
• Adjust machine settings to optimize production and reduce waste.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete necessary documentation.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
• Work closely with supervisors and quality control teams to meet production goals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an injection mold operator or in a related manufacturing role.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes, materials, and machine operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
