1st Shift Plasma Operator Position Summary: Cut various metals to appropriate length/size safely using a plasma table. Essential Functions: - Ability to read material lists properly to ensure appropriate materials allocated to appropriate jobs
- Ability to locate and retrieve proper materials per material sheets using overhead cranes and other material handling equipment
- Proper set up and operation of plasma table
- Follow quality standards to keep reduction of scrap and rework to a minimum
- Be able to cut an acceptable quantity of material per hour
- Must be able to stand on feet for 8 hours
- Have basic math skills (addition, subtraction and fractions, measurements)
- Safely operate overhead cranes and hoists
- Team player willing to help others in the department as necessary
Qualifications, Education, Knowledge, Training, Work Experience - Proficient with shop math including but not limited to general addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, measurements
- Ability to operate cranes safely and efficiently, hoists, lifts, etc.

Shift Hours: Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with overtime as needed Rate: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour East End Welding provides services to a global market.
