We are seeking a skilled Plasma and Brake Press Operator to join our dynamic team in Houston, TX. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate plasma cutting machines and brake presses according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency, making adjustments as necessary.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve workflow.
- Document production data and report any issues to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or fabrication preferred.
- Proven experience as a Plasma and Brake Press Operator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
