Required Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift - 1 year of experience
- Chemical Manufacturing environment - 2-5 years
- Product chemistries - 1 year of experience
- Basic computer skills
- Prior work experience in a related industry
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong problem-solving and math skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Operate pilot plant equipment to develop and scale-up new products
- Maintain knowledge of established chemistries and operate reactors, filter systems, and other equipment
- Troubleshoot problems and analyze analytical issues
- Perform hands-on operations work of pilot scale chemical processes
- Monitor and document process conditions
- Conduct routine plant operational tests
- Ensure plant equipment is maintained and functioning properly
- Operate equipment for shipping, receiving, and warehousing of raw materials and products
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain an organized and safe facility environment
- Provide additional operational support to the team as needed
