Role Logistics

  • Location: Shreveport, LA
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule: Night Shift

Key Deliverables

  • Perform senior-level maintenance on production lines and facility equipment
  • Troubleshoot and correct mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
  • Read and apply manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and hydraulic/electrical schematics
  • Lead root cause analysis to eliminate recurring failures
  • Execute and improve preventive maintenance plans for machines, motors, tools, and systems
  • Coordinate repairs and PMs with plant supervision to limit downtime
  • Report equipment status and repair outcomes to the maintenance manager
  • Use tools and test equipment in strict adherence to safety procedures

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of machinery maintenance and electrical experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Demonstrated strength in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines
  • Expertise in failure analysis and troubleshooting for production and facility assets
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of single- and three‑phase systems, hydraulic circuits, and pneumatics (including air compressors)
  • Organizational acumen for parts management, equipment records, and time management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent active movement: walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and related motions
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment
  • Work for extended periods in hot areas and in environments where dust is present
