My client is seeking a Plant Scheduler to oversee production planning, capacity allocation, and order scheduling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This key role ensures on-time delivery, optimizes production efficiency, minimizes downtime, and supports smooth day-to-day operations.

Description

  • Build and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
  • Balance machine capacity, labor availability, materials, and customer priorities
  • Coordinate production flow across printing, converting, and shipping operations
  • Adjust schedules to address machine downtime, material shortages, and rush orders
  • Partner with Customer Service, Sales, Purchasing, Production, and Shipping teams to meet delivery commitments
  • Analyze bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve throughput and efficiency
  • Maintain ERP data, monitor KPIs, and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Communicate production status, risks, and recovery plans to key stakeholders

Profile

  • 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations
  • Strong ERP/MRP system knowledge and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience balancing production demands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Sponsorship is not provided

Job Offer

  • Base salary $80,000 - $95,000 depending on experience
  • 3 weeks PTO
  • 1 week sick time
