Plant Production Operations Leader

Provide hands on leadership to ensure daily Production goals are met by working with assembly teams to resolve challenges, set goals, improve processes and foster a strong team environment. Report problems and concerns with safety, quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to the Production Manager and work to resolve them through corrective actions.

North Ft. Worth / Keller / Haslet / Roanoke, TX area




The Operations Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the assembly line meets the daily production schedule requirements efficiently while adhering to standard assembly processes and procedures. They provide training to team members and ensure safety and quality guidelines are followed at all times.




Responsibilities

• Provide hands on leadership to ensure daily Production goals are met by working with assembly teams to resolve challenges, set goals, improve processes and foster a strong team environment.
• Adhere to all workplace safety rules and promote a safety focused culture.
• Set and adjust sequencing of product for the assembly line based on constraints and business needs.
• Report problems and concerns with safety, quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to the Production Manager and work to resolve them through corrective actions.
• Report and maintain data for assembly line status and performance.
• Perform administrative changes to work orders to support flexible Production needs with accurate records.
• Work with supporting departments to ensure continuous assembly of products.
• Identify, support, and implement continuous improvements to the assembly area.
• Participate in the recruiting and onboarding of new assembly technicians, provide training, and conduct routine performance reviews for team members.
• Manage time & attendance for direct & indirect reports.
