Overview
A local manufacturing operation is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead daily production and drive performance across safety, quality, and efficiency. This role oversees a team of 100+ employees and is critical to optimizing operations and supporting continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics
Drive operational performance to meet production, cost, and quality targets
Monitor and control expenses while improving efficiency
Maintain and enhance facilities, equipment, and overall plant performance
Build, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team
Partner with Quality to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
Champion a strong safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives
Plan workforce needs and allocates resources to meet production goals
Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks to maximize output
Qualifications
9+ years of plant or operations management experience in manufacturing
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and costs
Proven leadership and team development skills
Knowledge of manufacturing, maintenance, and safety systems
Data-driven with strong analytical and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability
