Provide overall leadership and accountability for plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and workforce performance
Establish and sustain a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Develop and execute operational strategies to meet production, cost, quality, and efficiency targets
Oversee daily production and process performance, identifying bottlenecks and driving process optimization initiatives
Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and all applicable safety and regulatory requirements
Partner with maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability, uptime, and preventive maintenance programs
Lead, develop, and engage plant personnel through hiring, training, performance management, and workforce development
Manage plant budgets, track KPIs, and report operational performance to senior leadership
What You Need to Bring to the Plant Manager Role:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred (or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience)
7–10 years of experience in manufacturing or processing operations
3–5 years of plant leadership or senior supervisory experience
Experience in continuous process manufacturing, industrial processing, or material production
Strong quality background within lab settings
Strong leadership, organizational, and team development skills
Preferred-Experience in a start up or plant opening situation
Proven ability to drive process optimization and operational improvement
Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and regulatory compliance
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills with proficiency in operational systems and Microsoft Office
