Plant Manager

Location: Neosho, MO 64850

Pay Rate: $33.00/hr

Shift: 1st - Monday-Friday 6: 00 am to 3: 00 pm

We are seeking an experienced and driven Plant Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations for a growing production facility. This leadership role is responsible for managing plant performance, supervising staff, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, welding experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair shop machinery will stand out in this role. Must be able to pass a weld test.
Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate daily manufacturing plant operations

  • Oversee employee performance, productivity, and overall plant efficiency

  • Ensure all company policies and safety procedures are consistently followed

  • Hire, interview, onboard, and train plant personnel

  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to team members

  • Review production reports and implement improvements as needed

  • Monitor all plant equipment to ensure proper operation

  • Troubleshoot, repair, or coordinate repairs of machinery and equipment

  • Collaborate with upper management on budgets, processes, and operational improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in plant or manufacturing operations management

  • Strong knowledge of plant safety and regulatory requirements

  • Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

  • Welding experience is a strong plus

  • Experience repairing and maintaining shop machinery is highly preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Team-oriented mindset with a hands-on leadership style
Work Environment

  • Industrial manufacturing and plant setting

  • Exposure to machinery, equipment, and active production operations

  • Requires walking, standing, and being active on the production floor for extended periods

  • May involve a variety of plant environments depending on operational needs
