About the Role

As a key leader in our client's operations team, you will drive the success of the manufacturing plant, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency. Your strategic oversight will ensure production aligns with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support safety initiatives, aiming for zero accidents and incidents.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote long-term employment.
• Minimize scrap production and maximize conforming production.
• Optimize processes for cost control and value-added activities.
• Maintain internal controls for inventory, financials, and capital spending.
• Recommend improvements in machinery and manufacturing methods.
• Manage resource allocation to meet production schedules efficiently.
• Oversee all manufacturing departments and support managers and supervisors.
• Ensure equipment reliability through preventive maintenance and KPI monitoring.
• Comply with ISO and SQF standards and document relevant processes.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• 8 years of management experience in manufacturing, particularly in extruded plastics.
• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing procedures.
• Experience managing medium to large scale production environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
