About the RoleManages and grows Coleman Oils Plant operations and associated physical assets. Directs specific Plant locations employees operations and facilities in a profitable manner to manage existing business and target solicit and acquire new prospective accounts. Develops maintains and implements quality control procedures for all business lines from Coleman warehouses to customer facilities. Provides outstanding service and quality products in a professional and profitable manner with honesty integrity teamwork employee development and excellence in relationships. Develops strong teams through leadership by providing meaningful coaching feedback and training.
What You&8217ll DoEstablish a strong working relationship among drivers service technicians dispatchers and customer care specialists that is customer focused to drive customer growth.Provide leadership consistent with company values by setting clear work expectations performance goals and holding employees accountable for their performance.Exceed customer expectations on every level by avoiding service failures with pro-active strategies and provide productsservices that attract customers.Maintain financial performance by monitoring product costs personnel plant office and vehicle expense.Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs for vehicles and plant equipment.Implement marketing plans to achieve annual growth objectives.Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained in safe and efficient working condition.Ensure safety policies and procedures are being followed to meet all Federal State and CSV standards.Communicate and document employee work performance provide feedback on a timely basis and fully document all employee relation concerns.Interview hire train and develop employees.
Other duties may include the following dependent upon locationSupport delivery operations as needed including acting as an overflow package delivery driver.Monitor tank balances and product levels.Coordinate product ordering and replenishment activities.Answer customer calls and take orders for deliveriesSupport administrative functions necessary for efficient plant management.Other projects as assigned.
Skills and ExperienceBachelors degree in related area or equivalent work experience in operations logistics and supervision.Minimum 3 to 5 years of leadership or management experience preferably in fuel lubricant petroleum transportation logistics distribution or related industries.Experience with managing inventory fleet operations and customer service functions.Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization and from diverse backgrounds.Excellent communication skills.Ability to stay calm under pressure.Proven leader.General understanding of driver duties and human resource laws.Willing to travel and work flexible hours.Strong computer experience in various programs.
