Job TitleLead Manufacturing OperationsJob DescriptionLead day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production, engineering, maintenance, quality, materials, health and safety, and support functions. Ensure production goals, quality standards, and delivery commitments are consistently achieved. Drive operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles. Build, develop, and mentor leadership teams and plant personnel. Establish clear goals, expectations, and accountability across all levels of the organization. Foster a positive workplace culture focused on engagement, collaboration, and continuous learning. Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Promote proactive risk management and workplace safety initiatives. Manage plant performance against operational and financial objectives. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, quality, and profitability. Support strategic planning and execution of business initiatives. Lead process improvement efforts focused on efficiency, waste reduction, cost savings, and operational excellence. Utilize data and performance metrics to identify opportunities and drive sustainable results. Support successful product launches, engineering changes, and operational transitions. Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure business objectives are achieved.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Experience in automotive manufacturing REQUIRED. 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including direct plant management responsibilities. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence methodologies. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational performance. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, KPIs, and plant performance metrics. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business systems.What's on OfferBase salary $140,000 - $175,000 depending on level of experience. Annual bonus incentive based on company performance + personal metrics (~30%). 3 weeks PTO + company holidays (including plant shutdown). 401k program with employer match.
