Required background
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 years of experience in an industrial maintenance operation.
- One of the following maintenance credentials:
- Journeyman Certification/License in Electrical, Plumbing, or Mechanical (State Certifying Authority)
- Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator — Refrigerating Engineers and Technicians Association (RETA)
- Certified Maintenance Technician Level III — International Maintenance Institute (IMI)
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician — Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP)
Preferred background
- 8+ years in industrial maintenance.
- Two of the following certifications:
- Programmable Logic Controller Certification — Electronics Technicians Association International (ETA)
- Journeyman Certification/License in Electrical, Plumbing, or Mechanical (State Certifying Authority)
- Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator — Refrigerating Engineers and Technicians Association (RETA)
- Certified Maintenance Technician Level III — International Maintenance Institute (IMI)
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician — Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP)
Success profile

Environment & physical demands
You will work across office areas and all plant locations, indoors and outdoors, with exposure to extreme temperatures, electrical hazards, ammonia, and heavy moving equipment. The schedule includes nights and weekends; occasional travel and overtime may be required. The pace is fast and priorities shift—success depends on managing stress, building collaborative relationships, making sound decisions in complex situations, and maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail. Must be able to use hand and heavy electric tools and lift a minimum of 45 lbs.
