Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking Plant Maintenance Workers to work with a reputable energy and utility company in the Winfield, WV area.
Job Summary
Perform manual labor and custodial duties in a power plant to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly facility. Duties include general plant maintenance, cleaning, snow removal, and filling kerosene heaters.
Essential Job Functions
- Sweep, wash, clean, and paint buildings, floors, and equipment.
- Wash down plant areas and roadways to remove coal/ash dust and sludge.
- Shovel coal spillage onto conveyors.
- Remove trash and clean spills throughout the plant.
- Perform snow removal and fill kerosene heaters as needed.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and follow plant procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to respond to callouts during outage and non-outage periods.
- Ability to follow safety and environmental procedures.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions.
- Strong communication skills and professional conduct.
- Dependable and able to work in a physically demanding industrial environment.
