Where and when

  • Location: Plymouth, MI
  • On-site: Yes
  • Hours: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
  • Compensation: $25–$35/hour
  • Status: Full-time / Hourly

What you'll do

  • Service, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery using hand/power tools and precision/test equipment.
  • Execute routine PMs and advanced corrective maintenance.
  • Identify root causes of failures and restore reliable operation.
  • Interpret and work from drawings, schematics, blueprints, manuals, and OEM specs.
  • Handle challenging mechanical issues; elevate items requiring specialized support.
  • Lead by example—coach and mentor others on methods and standards.
  • Uphold safety, environmental, and quality procedures, including strict Lockout/Tagout.

What you bring

Must have

  • High school education.
  • Typically 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Broad mechanical knowledge with exposure to electrical, hydraulic, and fluid dynamics systems.
  • Hands-on skill in monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, calibration, numerical control, and LOTO practices.
  • Ability to work independently and finish assignments with minimal oversight.
  • Clear interpretation of instructions and strong teamwork.

Nice to have

  • Powered Industrial Equipment Certification.

Physical demands & environment

  • Routine exposure to industrial machinery and elevated noise levels.
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs on a recurring basis.
  • Stand for long durations; bend and stoop frequently.
  • Use fine motor skills to handle small components.
  • Work in confined areas and from elevated platforms as needed.
