Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their team and provide financial analysis and strategic support within a manufacturing environment. This position will partner closely with plant leadership to evaluate operational performance, develop financial forecasts, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide insights that support business decisions. The anticipated salary for this role is between $100,000 and $120,000 plus bonus.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with plant leadership to develop financial targets, forecasts, and analysis based on operational performance.
  • Develop plant budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial models incorporating production and operational drivers.
  • Evaluate financial variances related to labor, materials, overhead, productivity, and other key cost areas.
  • Investigate the root causes of financial variances and recommend corrective actions and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with plant and cross-functional teams to validate data, improve reporting accuracy, and strengthen understanding of cost drivers.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of standardized financial and operational performance metrics.
  • Monitor financial trends, risks, and opportunities while connecting operational performance to margins and overall costs.
  • Present financial reports, performance reviews, and recommendations to plant management and Finance leadership.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing financial processes, reporting, and data quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of finance or related experience, including experience in FP&A and/or manufacturing.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • CPA or CFA certification is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial modeling is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, cost accounting, and manufacturing operating metrics.
  • Ability to analyze production and financial data and connect operational drivers to financial outcomes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to both finance and operations teams.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build effective partnerships across departments.
