The Manufacturing Plant Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes and equipment in a plant environment. This role will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the plant operates efficiently, and all production goals are met. This is a consolidated role with key responsibilities that include Plant Engineering, TPM/Maintenance Systems Management, Project Management and Facilities Management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or other related technical field. 5-10 experience in engineering or technical leadership role in a manufacturing environment. Prefer at least 5 years working in a cGMP environment and leading hygienic improvements. Experienced in Personal Care and/or other regulated manufacturing environment is a definite plus. Experience developing, leading and implementing TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing systems in a manufacturing environment is a definite plus. Direct experience interacting with regulatory inspectors such as FDA and ISO, preferred. Experience effectively managing people and teams. Mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills is a must.
