What you’ll handle
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of plant electrical systems and equipment.
- Rapid diagnosis and resolution of electrical problems to keep production on track.
- Use of drawings, schematics, and technical references to plan and execute tasks.
- Regular inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent unplanned outages.
- Strict adherence to electrical codes and safety procedures.
- Close collaboration with other trades and departments to deliver results efficiently.
- Accurate recordkeeping of all service, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Continuous learning to stay current with technology and best practices.
What you’ll need to succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electrical technology preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working as an industrial electrician or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical circuits, systems, and components.
- Proficiency interpreting technical documentation and blueprints.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Electrician’s license or certification is advantageous.
