Plant Controller
Location Utica, NY; this is an onsite role
Salary: $115,000$140,000 + Bonus Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on Plant Controller to lead financial management for a manufacturing and distribution facility specializing in advanced liquid cooling components. This high-visibility role partners directly with the Plant Director and site leadership to drive profitability, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, overhead, inventory, scrap, and productivity
- Oversee standard costing, inventory valuation, and financial controls
- Prepare forecasts, variance analyses, and management reports
- Support capital projects, business cases, and ROI analysis
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement to identify cost savings and performance improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Manufacturing finance experience in cost accounting, plant controlling, or FP&A
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, inventory, and financial reporting
- Preferred: CPA, CMA, MBA; ERP and standard costing experience; exposure to lean or continuous improvement
