Description
Our client is a large, privately held manufacturing company. They are seeking a Plant Controller to add to their growing team. The Plant Controller function includes monthly preparation of financial statements/analysis, as well as looking for process improvement in the month end close cycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Plant Controller
Plant Controller is main point of contact to all functional groups/departments on accounting and finance items in this facility
Will have lead role in the month end close, annual forecast and financial analysis
Work with external auditors as needed
Review and oversight of standard cost maintenance
Plant Controller will have detailed knowledge of profitability analysis and key accounting/finance items

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE of Plant Controller
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting/Finance required
MBA or CPA (or parts passed towards CPA) designation preferred
5+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance
Excellent communication, people, written and presentation skills
Team player who can work well with other functional groups
