    Role Overview
    • Senior/Lead Accountant focused primarily on SEC-compliant financial reporting.
    • This is an Individual Contributor (IC) position with no direct reports.
    • Reports directly to the Hiring Manager, who reports to the VP of Accounting & Reporting.
    • Approximately 65% of the role is focused on financial/SEC reporting.

    Top Candidate Requirements
    • Strong hands-on SEC reporting experience is the biggest priority.
    • Candidate should have experience preparing financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures for lenders/investors.
    • If not coming from Big 4, HM expects at least 2 3 years of direct SEC reporting experience.
    • Big 4 background is strongly preferred because of familiarity with SEC standards, documentation, and reporting quality.
    • Candidates without Big 4 can still be considered if they have strong SEC reporting experience with a public company or a private company producing SEC-compliant financial statements.
    • Must be detail-oriented, organized, deadline-driven, and able to work independently.
    • HM wants a self-starter who takes ownership, understands the "why behind the work, and proactively identifies process improvements.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements aligned with SEC standards.
    • Prepare and maintain financial statement footnotes and disclosures.
    • Prepare monthly cash flow statements.
    • Handle some journal entries and reconciliations.
    • Support stock-based compensation accounting, primarily stock options.
    • Handle lease accounting, including coordination, lease setup, and related monthly entries.
    • Work with HR on severance accounting, entries, reconciliations, and supporting workpapers.
    • Perform quarterly contract reviews to ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
    • Assist in drafting technical accounting memos when required.
    • Additional responsibilities may include intangibles and other general accounting/reporting activities.

    Systems / Tools
    • Workiva Highly preferred / important. This is where the candidate will spend most of their financial reporting time.
    • Oracle Preferred/Plus. Used to pull financial data such as income statement and balance sheet information.
    • Visual Lease Plus, but candidates can be trained.
    • Experience with the company's other GL/accounting tools is a plus, but not mandatory.

    Work Arrangement
    • Hybrid schedule
    • Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Onsite
    • Monday & Friday Remote

    Interview Process
    • Approximately 3 virtual interviews.
    • Expected interviewers:
      • Hiring Manager
      • VP of Accounting & Reporting
      • Possibly Director of Accounting / another key stakeholder
    • Virtual interviews are acceptable; onsite interviews are not required.
    • HM indicated the process should move fairly quickly after interviews.
