Plant Accountant
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 + Bonus

Key Responsibilities for the Plant Accountant:
- Maintain product costing, standard costs, and activity-based cost models.
- Analyze labor, production, and operational costs to identify trends and opportunities.
- Perform inventory reconciliations and support inventory valuation processes.
- Prepare month-end journal entries, accruals, allocations, and account analyses.
- Conduct variance analysis and communicate findings to management.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
Qualifications for the Plant Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience with exposure to cost accounting.
- Experience in manufacturing, food production, agriculture, or similar operational environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory, job costing, and financial analysis.
- ERP system experience required; JD Edwards experience is a plus.
- Understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
