This full-time, permanent role, located in Honolulu, involves reviewing and analyzing building plans to ensure safety and compliance with the Building Code and other regulations, and overseeing the approval of all building projects under the Building Department.

Actual salary will be commensurate with applicable experience, pending approval, and subject to funding availability.

The Plans Examining Engineer IV position requires applicants to have the equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited four-year college or university with a bachelors degree in an engineering specialty.
