Position Overview
Cumberland County's Planning & Inspections Department is seeking a Planner II to support thoughtful, informed growth and development throughout the County and participating municipalities. This position provides professional planning services that help shape the future of our communities through comprehensive planning, long-range development strategies, ordinance research, and collaboration with local governments, agencies, and the public.

Examples of Duties
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in urban or regional planning, geography, public administration, engineering, community development, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in urban, city, regional, or community planning; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Management Preference:
Plan design and GIS mapping experience preferred
AICP certification is preferred.
