    Position Summary:

    This role is located in Sunbury, OH, and will be responsible for generating a daily/weekly production schedule that balances manufacturing capacity, operating efficiencies, and inventory levels based on a collaborative Sales, Inventory and Operations Plan (SIOP).

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Conduct daily MRP runs and issue jobs for manufacturing work centers that align with SIOP targets from corporate supply chain team.
    • Create, update and maintain schedules and work with production to meet customer demand and production targets while optimizing resource utilization.
    • Work with Supply Chain planning team to address changes in demand/capacity.
    • Work with Purchasing team to escalate material shortages and assist with developing appropriate corrective actions.
    • Communicate scheduling conflicts with stakeholders and quickly resolve them as they arise.
    • Support Kanban replenishment process for point of use/feeder cell materials.
    • Coordinate parts within plant, from feeder cells, and escalate shortages.
    • Provide order status updates for released jobs to customers service teams.
    • Participate in Kaizens and continuous improvement projects to improve production planning and scheduling processes.
    • On a daily basis, respond to email expedites or cancellations

    Requirements

    Education and/or Experience:

    • Associate degree (B.A.) in Business Administration or related field (materials/production/purchasing emphasis preferable)
    • 3 years of relevant manufacturing/purchasing work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Must have advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with BI systems (Power BI)
    • Lean Manufacturing experience-manufacturing processes and inventory replenishment methods such as Kanban, VMI, Consignment, etc preferred
    • Experience working with ERP (Syteline Experience preferred)

    Salary Description

    70,000-85,000
