Night Shift Lumber Puller – Planer Mill

Pay: $16.50 per hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:45 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
Lunch: 30-minute lunch break
Position: Night Shift – Planer Mill

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Night Shift Lumber Pullers to join a fast-paced planer mill team. This is a physically demanding, hands-on production position that requires strength, stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely around industrial machinery.

The ideal candidate is comfortable with physical labor, works well as part of a team, and can maintain productivity throughout an overnight shift.

Responsibilities

• Pull and handle lumber during the production process

• Perform repetitive, physically demanding work throughout the shift

• Inspect lumber for wood grades, defects, and quality concerns

• Maintain close attention to detail while working at production pace

• Work safely around industrial machinery and equipment

• Communicate effectively with team members

• Follow established safety procedures and work practices

• Help maintain an efficient and productive work environment

Qualifications

• Strong physical strength and stamina

• Ability to perform repetitive manual labor for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to identify or learn to identify wood grades and defects

• Ability to work safely around industrial machinery

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Dependable and able to maintain reliable attendance

• Comfortable working a 12-hour overnight shift

• Ability to work in a fast-paced mill environment
