We are an established Illinois personal injury and workers’ compensation litigation firm with nearly five decades of experience advocating for injured individuals. As our practice expands, we are seeking an attorney to manage a docket of workplace injury matters with partner guidance and dedicated paralegal support.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

Manage a docket of claimant-side workers’ compensation and employment-injury matters under the supervision of a partner.

Handle all stages of litigation, including investigation, client communication, legal research, motion practice, discovery, hearings, trial, and pre- and post-trial work.

Develop case strategies and prepare matters for proceedings before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission.

Maintain consistent client communication and explain case developments and next steps.

Direct the work of a dedicated paralegal and oversee case preparation, deadlines, and documentation.

Collaborate with partners, fellow attorneys, and support staff.

Participate in the firm’s community service and philanthropic initiatives.

Qualifications:

3–15 years of litigation and trial experience.

Proven hearing or trial experience before an Industrial Commission strongly desired.

Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.

Ability to independently manage a docket while working effectively within a team.

A motivated, self-starting approach and the ability to lead assigned support staff.

Commitment to continued learning, client advocacy, and community involvement.
