A national plaintiff firm that represents people harmed by asbestos and other toxic exposures is adding a litigator to its Tampa office. The cases are serious, the clients are often very sick, and the work moves fast.
The work: a caseload of toxic tort matters carried from intake through resolution. Building each client's exposure and medical history. Written discovery, depositions taken and defended, motion practice, and trial when a case does not settle. Regular work with occupational and medical experts. Appearances in Florida state and federal courts. Steady, plain communication with clients facing hard diagnoses.
Who fits: Florida Bar in good standing. Three to seven years of civil litigation with real deposition and discovery work; what you have done counts more than the number of years. Plaintiff-side, personal injury, toxic tort or mass tort experience is a real advantage. Trial exposure is a plus. Strong writing.
Pay: competitive and based on experience. Health, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
Schedule: Monday through Friday in the Tampa office.
This search is confidential. L&W Recruiting represents the firm; you will learn who they are on our first call.
