About the Role:Napoleone's Pizza House in National City, CA is looking for a passionate and skilled Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team! Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook pizzas and menu items to order, following established recipes and quality standards
- Stretch, top, and bake pizzas using proper dough handling techniques
- Operate and maintain pizza ovens, ensuring proper temperature and cooking times
- Prep ingredients including sauces, toppings, and dough on a daily basis
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace
- Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to management
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient service during peak hours
Requirements:- Prior experience as a pizza cook, line cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
- Knowledge of pizza dough preparation, stretching, and baking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain one upon hire
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
