We are looking for a structural engineer experienced in performing pipe stress analysis using a number of different piping analysis software codes including AutoPipe. Analyses include performing pipe stress analysis of systems in accordance with ASME B31.1, B31.3, as well as ASME Class 1, 2 and 3 systems. Stress analysis includes the verifying piping flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads. Work with and analyze pipe supports and Layout personnel as required. Additional duties may include analysis of various structures and concrete anchors for seismic concerns.

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted.
Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data.
Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.
Displays informal leadership characteristics.
Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking.
Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role.
Functional knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3, as well as ASME Class 1, 2 and 3 systems.
Experience with piping analysis software codes including AutoPipe.
Capability to perform stress analysis including but not limited to, the verifying piping flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads
