Piping Discipline Specialist

Ability to use checklists to verify complete and accurate piping isometric drawings referencing P&ID's, Material Specifications, Stress Analysis Reports and stress isometrics, vendor equipment and instrumentation drawings. Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.

Our client has a need for a piping discipline specialist to support ongoing projects.

Responsibilities:

• Checking of Isometric Drawings for construction packages.
• Ability to use checklists to verify complete and accurate piping isometric drawings referencing P&ID's, Material Specifications, Stress Analysis Reports and stress isometrics, vendor equipment and instrumentation drawings.
• Basic proficiency in 3D CAD platforms to maneuver within the design environment and extract pertinent information.
• Meet schedule deadlines to support construction packages.

Required:

• Extensive demonstrated history of professional experience in the design of Piping systems.
• 3D Cad proficiency
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to design of Piping systems.
• Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contributing with innovative ideas.
• Work independently for core tasks and reach out for specialized expertise.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well within a dynamic team environment with multiple deadlines.

Preferred Qualification:

• Associates degree or higher. 20 years experience in the field of piping design.
