Title: Ping Identity / IAM Consultant
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 6+ months
Salary Range: $49- $50 an hour on W2
We are seeking an experienced Ping Identity Consultant to design, implement, deploy, and support enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using the Ping Identity suite. The consultant will focus on SSO, MFA, federation, access management, authentication, and identity integrations, ensuring secure, scalable, highly available, and high-performing IAM infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with PingFederate, PingAccess, PingOne, PingDirectory, and PingDavinci, along with expertise in SAML, OIDC, LDAP, automation, troubleshooting, and enterprise application integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and support Ping Identity solutions across enterprise environments.
- Implement and manage PingFederate, PingAccess, PingOne SSO, PingDirectory, and PingDavinci.
- Design and implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions.
- Configure and troubleshoot authentication and federation protocols including SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and LDAP.
- Integrate enterprise applications with IAM platforms and authentication services.
- Monitor IAM infrastructure and troubleshoot complex authentication, federation, and access-management issues.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent resolutions for recurring IAM issues.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of IAM infrastructure.
- Develop automation scripts and deployment processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Support IAM deployments, upgrades, configuration changes, and production releases.
- Implement change management, disaster recovery, security, and compliance best practices.
- Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations teams.
- Participate in enterprise IAM architecture and implementation initiatives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, runbooks, and deployment guides.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation of IAM operations.
Required Skills
- 6 8 years of experience in Identity & Access Management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Ping Identity products.
- Expertise in:
- PingFederate
- PingAccess
- PingOne
- PingDirectory
- PingDavinci
- Strong understanding of SSO, MFA, federation, authentication, and authorization.
- Hands-on experience with SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and LDAP.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications with IAM platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience with IAM infrastructure monitoring, performance optimization, and high availability.
- Knowledge of security controls, compliance, disaster recovery, and change management.
- Experience developing automation scripts and deployment processes.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Enterprise IAM architecture and implementation experience.
- Experience with identity governance and access management.
- Scripting/programming experience for IAM automation.
- Experience supporting large-scale production IAM environments.
