    PIM Manager

    Job Summary:

    The PIM Manager leads the strategy, governance, implementation, and optimization of the organization's Product Information Management platform and related processes. This role serves as the functional owner and subject matter expert for product data, ensuring product content is accurate, complete, controlled, and ready for use across eCommerce, retail, marketing, sales, and operational channels. Working across Product, Marketing, eCommerce, IT, Operations, and external partners, the PIM Manager translates business requirements into scalable platform solutions, improves data quality, and drives adoption of consistent product information standards.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Platform Ownership: Serve as the functional owner and primary administrator of the PIM platform, including configuration, governance, workflow management, and continuous improvement.

    Project Leadership: Lead PIM implementations, enhancements, integrations, and data transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.

    Data Governance: Define and maintain product data standards, taxonomies, attribute models, validation rules, digital asset practices, and content readiness criteria.

    Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Product, Marketing, eCommerce, Sales, Supply Chain, IT, Operations, vendors, and implementation partners to gather requirements and align product data with business goals.

    Workflow & Syndication: Design and optimize workflows for product creation, enrichment, approval, lifecycle management, and syndication to retailer, marketplace, distributor, and internal platforms.

    Quality, Compliance & Reporting: Monitor data completeness, consistency, accessibility, security, and compliance through audits, issue resolution, KPI reporting, and ongoing improvement programs.

    Training & Adoption: Create documentation, SOPs, work instructions, user guides, and training materials while supporting change management and user adoption across the organization.

    Risk & Issue Management: Identify gaps, dependencies, and risks that may impact data quality, cost, schedule, compliance, or channel readiness, and escalate issues to leadership as needed.

    Develop an understanding of all processes, brand standards, and products.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, eCommerce, Engineering, Data Management, or a related field.

    3+ years of experience in Product Information Management, Product Data Management, Master Data Management, Digital Commerce, or related disciplines.

    Hands-on experience with PIM/PXM platforms such as Salsify, Akeneo, Inriver, Syndigo, Informatica, or similar enterprise solutions.

    Strong understanding of product data governance, taxonomy, attribute mapping, digital asset management, workflow automation, and content syndication.

    Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects, manage stakeholders, translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences, and drive process improvement.

    Excellent analytical, organizational, written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

    Plus’s:

    PXM, digital shelf optimization, omnichannel commerce, and retailer content standards.

    Experience with ERP, eCommerce, DAM, APIs, integrations, and enterprise information systems.

    Familiarity with Agile delivery, vendor management, and change management practices.
