PIM Data Engineer

We are actively seeking an experienced PIM Data Engineer to join our Data Management team and to deliver for complex, enterprise-scale PIM projects. You'll collaborate with a talented team of developers, technical leads, and architects to solve challenging problems and drive digital transformation initiatives.

We are actively seeking an experienced PIM Data Engineer to join our Data Management team and to deliver for complex, enterprise-scale PIM projects. In this role, you will be an engineer and implement sophisticated product information management solutions for some of the industry's most recognizable brands. You'll collaborate with a talented team of developers, technical leads, and architects to solve challenging problems and drive digital transformation initiatives. Working in a distributed environment, you'll take ownership of projects while maintaining strong communication with internal teams and client stakeholders.

Information Security Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
• Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on Akeneo PIM implementation and architecture experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of real-world e-commerce experience (within the last 5 years)
• Demonstrated experience with AWS technologies (Lambda, AppSync, DynamoDB)
• Strong understanding of data architecture and PIM platform configuration best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven ability to design and architect scalable PIM solutions using Akeneo
• Hands-on experience with APIs (REST, GraphQL) and third-party integrations
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and mentor junior team members
• Strong written communication skills with ability to produce clear, comprehensive technical documentation
• Experience leading client calls, gathering requirements, and managing stakeholder expectations

Nice-to-Have:

• Active participation in large-scale e-commerce platform development and optimization
• PIM / MDM certifications (Akeneo, Enter works, Salsify, other major enterprise PIM platform)
• Experience with enterprise eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, Adobe Commerce)
• Exposure to Data Management platforms (PIM, MDM, DAM, ect.)
