ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned
· Participate in projects as designated by mentor to increase understanding of company operations and HR processes and make potential improvements to the processes and procedures. Examples may include:
- Perform clerical duties, take calls, maintain files, and organize documents
- Assist with employee recognition programs
- Assist with SOP implementation and certification
- Assist in preparation of employee communications, HR events, and team member events as necessary
EXPECTATIONS
· Team Members Observe & enforce all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.
· Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you work effectively and cooperatively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams.
· Participates in process improvement and problem solving utilizing continuous improvement and rational thinking methodologies such as Six Sigma.
· Recognizes and acts on incidents and safety risks. Consistently practices, and enforces safe work habits and drives those habits throughout the organization
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
· Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year program. Human Resources, Agriculture or Business Management is preferred.
· Intermediate computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
· Strong analytical skills
· Strong project management skills
· Strong written and oral communication skills
