Pilates Instructor — Build a Career, Not Just a Class Schedule

Full-Time or Part-Time | 25–40 Hours/Week | Menlo Park, CA

Love teaching Pilates but tired of piecing together a schedule at multiple studios?

What if you could teach Pilates in a beautiful, established practice, work primarily one-on-one with clients, collaborate directly with healthcare professionals, have clients referred to you from within the practice, and have the opportunity to build a full schedule and long-term career?

Revitalize Integrated Body Systems (RIBS) is looking for an exceptional Pilates Instructor to join our growing team in Menlo Park.

We are looking for someone who wants more than a few classes or scattered hours. Whether you're looking for approximately 25 hours per week or a full-time 40-hour position, we want to create an opportunity for the right instructor to grow with us.

THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL PILATES STUDIO

At RIBS, Pilates is an integral part of how we care for our patients.

Our chiropractors evaluate and treat patients and then work directly with our Pilates and corrective exercise team to help them transition from pain and injury into strength, movement, and long-term wellness.

That means you're not on an island trying to find clients on your own.

You'll work alongside chiropractors, massage therapists, physical therapists, corrective exercise specialists, and other movement professionals who communicate and collaborate about their clients.

Our philosophy is:

ReAlign • ReBuild • ReVitalize

We help our patients get out of pain, rebuild their bodies, and then give them the strength and tools to stay active for life.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

One of the best things about this position is the variety.

One hour you might work with someone returning to activity after an injury. The next could be a golfer wanting more rotational strength, an active mom rebuilding her core, an executive trying to undo years of sitting, or a longtime client who simply wants to stay strong, mobile, and independent.

Many of our clients stay with us for years, so our instructors have the opportunity to develop meaningful, long-term relationships instead of constantly turning over clients.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...

You're the instructor who remembers what's going on in your client's life.

You notice the little movement changes other people miss.

You get excited when someone tells you, "I can finally do that without pain."

You love Pilates, but you also want to understand why someone moves the way they do.

You're curious. You're coachable. You enjoy learning.

And you're someone who brings positive energy into a room.

We don't expect every instructor to teach exactly the same way. In fact, we don't want that.

We want you to bring your own personality, experience, creativity, and Pilates style to RIBS.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Teach primarily private and duet Pilates sessions

  • Work with reformer, mat, and other Pilates equipment

  • Create individualized programs based on each client's goals, injuries, and abilities

  • Help clients improve strength, mobility, posture, balance, and confidence

  • Collaborate with our chiropractic and rehabilitation team

  • Progress patients from rehabilitation into long-term strength and wellness

  • Maintain simple, accurate session documentation

  • Build lasting relationships with your clients

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:

  • Certified Pilates Instructor

  • Reformer certification

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Dependable, professional, and genuinely enjoys working with people

We'd especially love someone with:

  • Comprehensive Pilates certification

  • An interest in anatomy, biomechanics, rehabilitation, or corrective exercise

  • Experience working with injuries or special populations

  • A desire to continue learning and developing professionally

Clinical or rehabilitation experience is wonderful, but it is not required.

If you're a great instructor with the right personality and a strong desire to learn, we want to hear from you.

WHY JOIN RIBS?

Because we want this to be somewhere you can actually build a career.

We offer:

  • Part-time or full-time opportunities — approximately 25–40 hours/week

  • Competitive compensation

  • An established practice with an internal patient referral network

  • Opportunity to build a consistent private-client schedule

  • 401(k) retirement plan

  • Paid vacation for eligible employees

  • Paid sick time

  • Continuing education opportunities

  • Mentorship and collaboration with healthcare professionals

  • A beautiful, fully equipped Pilates environment

  • A supportive team that actually works together

  • Opportunity to grow professionally as RIBS continues to grow

We believe the best practitioners never stop learning. Our team regularly collaborates, shares knowledge, discusses patient cases, and participates in continuing education.

We also believe work should be somewhere you enjoy being.

We work hard. We care deeply about our patients. We support one another. And we're looking for someone who wants to become a real part of our team—not simply clock in, teach a session, and leave.

READY FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT?

If you've been looking for an opportunity where you can teach Pilates, develop your clinical skills, build a loyal clientele, and have the stability of an established multidisciplinary practice, we'd love to meet you.

Don't worry if your résumé doesn't check every single box.

If this sounds like the kind of place you've been looking for, apply. We'd much rather meet the right person than the perfect résumé.

Please send us your résumé along with a short note telling us:

What do you love most about teaching Pilates—and what are you looking for in your next Pilates home?

We can't wait to hear from you.
