Job Title: Packaging Associate

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Contract Duration: Approximately 12 weeks (2,160 total hours)

Job Summary:
Our client, a leading fresh produce distribution company in Honolulu, HI, is seeking Packaging Associates to support daily warehouse packing operations. This is an entry-level, industrial labor position ideal for candidates with 0-3 years of relevant experience. No industrial equipment operation is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack and repack products according to company specifications
- Measure, weigh, and count products and materials
- Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools
- Clean containers, materials, supplies, and work areas using cleaning solutions and hand tools
- Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met
- Load products into package processing equipment
- Mark and label containers, container tags, or products using marking tools
- Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders using hand tools
- Place and/or pour products or materials into containers using hand tools and equipment
- Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records
- Remove completed or defective products or materials from processing area
Required Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout an 8-hour shift
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow packing specifications
- Basic math skills for measuring, weighing, and counting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior warehouse, packaging, or production experience
- Familiarity with hand tools used in packing and assembly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

This position is based on-site at a distribution facility in Honolulu, HI, with no travel required.
