Picker/Packer Job Summary
Employnet is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our warehouse and distribution team. The Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately picking products, preparing customer orders, packing materials, and ensuring shipments are processed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pull products and components from inventory according to customer orders and work instructions.
• Verify product numbers, quantities, labels, and order information to ensure accuracy.
• Pack products securely and prepare orders for shipment.
• Operate handheld scanners and warehouse equipment to locate and track inventory.
• Prepare boxes, cartons, pallets, and shipping materials according to company standards.
• Inspect products for damage or defects before packing and shipping.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials while following proper safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and warehouse procedures.
• Meet daily productivity, accuracy, and shipping deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and shipping teams regarding orders or inventory issues.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, picking, packing, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Minium of 2-years and long term required.
• Ability to accurately read product numbers, labels, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely lift and handle products and packages.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality.

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy. Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus.
