Picking and Packing Associate
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picking and Packing Associate to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from inventory, preparing orders for shipment, and ensuring all items are packed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, can work in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Pick products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
Verify item numbers, quantities, and product quality before packing.
Pack orders securely to prevent damage during transit.
Label packages and prepare shipments according to company procedures.
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and order completion.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and scanners as required.
Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse, picking, packing, or distribution experience is an asset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic computer and barcode scanner skills.
Good communication and time-management skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
