PI Project Manager - Health System Engineering Summary:
- Have a key and strategic operating role to the organizational leadership and plays an important role in the achievement of the overall success of BayCare Health System.
- Works with teams to execute improvements to simplify methods, process flows, and workplace layouts using proven industrial engineering techniques and building computer simulation models where appropriate to test new designs.
- Also perform data analysis using advanced statistical, operations research and industrial engineering methods.
- Essential functions include data collection, standards and process design, discrete event simulation modeling, performance monitoring and reporting, and project management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Required Education: Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, Operations Research, or closely related field.
- PhD preferred
- Required Certification: Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Practitioner or PMP (Project Management).
- Required Experience:
- 5 years Industrial Engineering or 2 Years in a Health Care Engineering capacity;
- and 1 year experience with discrete even simulation modeling.
