    PI Project Manager - Health System Engineering Summary:

    • Have a key and strategic operating role to the organizational leadership and plays an important role in the achievement of the overall success of BayCare Health System.
    • Works with teams to execute improvements to simplify methods, process flows, and workplace layouts using proven industrial engineering techniques and building computer simulation models where appropriate to test new designs.
    • Also perform data analysis using advanced statistical, operations research and industrial engineering methods.
    • Essential functions include data collection, standards and process design, discrete event simulation modeling, performance monitoring and reporting, and project management.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Required Education: Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, Operations Research, or closely related field.
    • PhD preferred
    • Required Certification: Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Practitioner or PMP (Project Management).
    • Required Experience:
    • 5 years Industrial Engineering or 2 Years in a Health Care Engineering capacity;
    • and 1 year experience with discrete even simulation modeling.
