    Opportunity:

    Physician - Urology


    Job Details:

    • Urology Hospitalist role working a 7 on/7 off schedule

    • Inpatient coverage with clinic and overnight beeper call responsibilities

    • Shift times from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with 12 hours inpatient per day plus overnight call

    • Minimum of 14 shifts required per month

    • Average of 15 patient encounters per shift

    • Must be able to perform a wide range of urology procedures including Ureteroscopy with laser and Shockwave lithotripsy

    • Required procedures include: General Urology (Adult), Advanced endoscopic techniques, Laparoscopic surgeries, Percutaneous nephrolithotomy, Ureteroscopy, Radical Cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, Radical prostatectomy, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy, Pelvic node dissection, Robotic surgery, Partial nephrectomies with intraoperative ultrasound, Adrenalectomy, Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, and Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL)

    • 150 Urology Surgery Case Logs required for privileges

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years required

    • Active DEA required

    • BLS and ACLS certifications required

    • Trauma Level 2 facility

    • Opportunity for potential transition into a permanent staff position if mutually agreeable
