Physician - Urology
Job Details:
- Coverage needed for clinic and call coverage 2-3 weeks per month
- Breakdown is approximately 60% clinic, 10% hospital, and 30% procedures/surgeries
- Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with potential for earlier on-site arrival for surgery
- Typical procedures include cystoscopy, stent placement/removal, prostate biopsy, vasectomy, and bladder installation
- Equipment available includes X-ray, cystoscopes, rigid scope, bladder scanner, and TRUS
- Provider must be willing to treat pediatric testicular torsion patients and pediatric urology patients presenting to the ER
- Expected patient encounters per shift: 16-20
- Board certification required with minimum board certification eligibility
- BLS certification required
- Trauma Level 2 facility
- Required skills include general urology (adult), laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, TRUS biopsies, and incontinence procedures
- Preferred skills include pediatric urology, advanced endoscopic techniques, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, partial nephrectomies with intraoperative ultrasound, adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, and ESWL
- Provider must utilize real-time Mobile Time Clock, preferably GPS
